Frequently Asked Questions

What is a PRG? The Personal Renewal Group (PRG) is a circle of women sharing in a collective exploration of how to reclaim, rebalance and reconnect in our lives as mothers, spouses, friends. We have discussions, journal topics/exercises, inner reflections, and much laughter and connection. Together we will explore:

    Strategies and insights for self-renewal
Ideas on reconnecting with “who you are”
    Meaningful connection with like-minded women

The PRG's were designed to be a year-long journey so have been broken up into two sessions (six months each). You can view the content for each session here. You can learn more about this international program designed by Renee Trudeau by viewing a short video here or visiting www.selfrenewalcircles.com. You can also sample a PRG via telephone by joining Renee in her Live Inside Out celebration.

Who can attend? The  PRG is for any woman or mother who is ready to explore her life, make some positive changes and engage in self-growth! Whether your children are 6 weeks old or 36 years old, all women are welcome! Even if you don’t have children, we all face similar challenges in our lives of finding time to take care of ourselves, finding balance and a sense of inner peace. Together we can ALL share and benefit from the unique power of this women’s group!!

When and where are the monthly meetings? The meetings are 2.5 hours each, held once a month in Pflugerville. The program is 12 months, but for convenience, we break it up into two sessions (six months each). The next session will begin February 2012 and continue one Sunday of each month on the following dates: 2/26, 3/25, 4/22, 5/20, 6/24 and 7/29. The classes will be 3:00-5:30pm.

How much does the group cost and what does it cover? The PRG program is only $210 for the six month session. Your registration includes any supplies needed for the exercises during the meetings, materials, email support and communication between meetings, and your own copy of the book, The Mother's Guide to Self-Renewal by Renee Trudeau.

How do I register for the group? Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is secured by full payment. To register, please contact Sara Bogan at Sara@FamilyLifeBalance.com

What if I already own a copy of The Mother's Guide to Self-Renewal? The book is included in the registration, so you can share your extra book with a friend.

What if I already have a group of women interested, but we just need a facilitator? If you have a group of at least four women (some ideas include friends from your neighborhood, church, school, work) I'd be happy facilitate that group for you. Facilitation would be similar to how it's stated here.

Are meetings mandatory? Due to the intimate nature of the group, attendance at meetings is strongly encouraged. Of course, schedule conflicts may occur, but you should not miss more than 1 or 2 meetings if at all possible. Attendance at the meetings helps build the group community and strengthen relationships, and will help you get the most from the program.

If I miss too many meetings, can I get a refund? Unfortunately, no refunds are available. Your payment secures your spot that cannot be filled once the group has started.

Can I bring my kids to the meetings? This is a special time for You! Making the investment in yourself and giving yourself the opportunity to be out on your own will be very rewarding. As hard as it may be to leave your little ones at home, this is the time for you. Put all the meeting dates on your calendar now so you can make childcare arrangements in advance. You deserve it!
